So this is my top 1 of Monk's acting demonstration. Not sure if "taking time to roll the cigs" is the idea of the director or Monk himself, but it's great to show the personality of Noah character in this series: the level of confidence he possesses, not relying on appearance or luxury cars like in the original script and other remakes. The act reminds me of Michael (Al Pacino) in Godfather 1 also in the scene of him lighting the cigs in front of the hospital. Great actors! Shame that Monk seems not interested in continuing the acting path. I'd love to see more of his work :(

Great directing and acting! They let us hear Noah's footsteps, knowing the background story, we can all guess he must have stormed down the stairs. But he put up a very calm front right when stepping in the kitchen. Monk is excellent in acting with his eyes in this scene, through his eyes we can feel all the strong conflicts towards Liv which he couldn't express by words. For me this scene definitely in top 3 of Monk's acting demonstration in this series.

I read the comments before watching and was expecting Noah to be this insensitive jerk to her, but I don't actually think his reaction is that bad as he doesn't have her point of view of the situation and her response was very vague. Right now, he is just acting emotionally as he thinks his girlfriend has cheated on him with his own brother and even from his point of view, I think his reaction was even way gentler than the normal person would be.

This was the only remake that I would have wished to end differently. Even in the original I didn’t get sad when they broke up in the end. But in this remake I just wished them to stay together :(
